Prof. (Dr.) Sudhir Kumar Das is a Chartered Civil Engineer. He posseses Outstanding Academic carrier. He graduated in science with Hons in Mathematics Post graduate in applied Mathematics with a degree in Civil Engineering. He also possess Phd in engineering which he acquired after retirement from IRSE Service

After Post Graduation from Rajabazar Science College of Calcutta University in 1963, he want to became a faculty member of a college but he could not fulfil his desire as he was compelled domestically to accept a Central Govt. Service, where the salaries and perks were far better than the then teaching service.

His teaching services along with his past Engineering expertise in Railways helped him to deliver lectures in technical forum of India and abroad during the period 2003-18. He has delivered about 80 lectures in various conferences in India and abroad. He has chaired in about 10 technical forums in India and abroad. All his lectures were published in technical proceedings. He has also written about 60 Engineering and Environmental topics in different journals of India.

Up till now he has published 7 books, 3 of them are Bengali, technical based literatures and the rest 4 are engineering text books affiliated to West Bengal University of Technology, Govt. of India.

I joined twitter on 2012. Social media activities during the initial years were not significant. Enhanced my social media activities from 2016 onwards and gone to peak level during 2020 to 2021 while I was resting at home as a super senior citizen during pandemic season. The purpose of my social activities as a service to nation has not been defeated as tweets from stalwarts and individuals are now flooding in my home portal every hour. It is not possible to counter all except those for national importance. Total number of tweets as of now reached 10K following and followers being 5K and 2.5K respectively. About 30 plus public posts are available in Face book.
